Have you ever had a job that translates into a book? Published or on the planning board?

I have, actually. I wrote a book based on a character who’s an author. The title of the book is Purple Prose and it’s about a writer who has lost her muse and is under a lot of deadline pressure to complete her latest novel. When her new muse shows up on her doorstep he’s dead sexy and very opinionated. Only problem is, Calliope, Chief of the Muses, has turned him purple for indulging in purple prose in his last assignment. #:0)

I worked for years in corporate America as a proposal writer/manager. That is a job that’s just chock full of potential for fiction. I can imagine writing a murder mystery wherein the proposal manager murders the whole proposal team for being a pain in her butt. LOL That one is still on the planning board. #:0)

If we peeked into your underwear drawer, what would we find?

Sexy bras and panties. Silk and lace. Black and red. Okay, so they’re shoved to the back of the drawer and covered with cotton granny panties…but they’re there! LOL

Purple Prose

 When she hits the writer's block of all writer's blocks, Lindsey Prince thinks her muse has abandoned her. But she opens her door one day to find a gorgeous new one standing there, "anxious" to help her finish her current project. There's only one problem... her new muse, Zahn, has been turned purple by Calliope, Chief of the Muses, for indulging in Purple Prose. Unfortunately, his fate rests on Lindsey submitting a purple prose free manuscript to her editor. No pressure there.

To make matters worse, Zahn apparently has a powerful and cranky ex-girlfriend who isn't all that thrilled by the growing attraction between Lindsey and Zahn. She'll do anything to stop Lindsey from submitting that manuscript. Anything. Based on the extremely heated "research" she and Zahn have been indulging in, Lindsey knows her sexy IR story will sizzle. She only needs to live through the process of writing it.

No easy task, that.
